Among other things, EIM specialises in research on policy, like feasibility studies, policy analysis, explorative studies and impact assessments. We provide advice, training and assistance in the implementation of policies. We also carry out evaluations for entrepreneurs, assessing support measures as well as the costs and impact of certain regulations on businesses.
As an independent organisation, our customers in The Netherlands include many non-profit organisations, all kinds of businesses in the intermediate sector, and local, regional and national authorities. EIM carries out an extensive research program for the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs.
We are also active on an international scale. Our clients are mostly non-profit organisations, several foreign governments and supra-national authorities. A few of them are: the OECD, the World Bank, EBRD, IFC, UNIDO and the European Commission. We collaborate on the European Observatory for SMEs. EIM is a member of the widespread European Network for Social and Economic Research (ENSR). We are also part of the European Network for Retail Research (ENRR).
